Cytology for Anatomic Pathologists and Histology for Clinical Pathologists: Bridging the Gap Through Diagnostic Correlation.

15 September, 2026
Oniris, Nantes

The SFAPV Training Day is the annual continuing education event organised by the French Society of Veterinary Anatomic Pathology (SFAPV), held the day before the joint ESVP-ECVP-ESVCP-ECVCP Congress 2026.

This year’s theme — Cytology for Anatomic Pathologists and Histology for Clinical Pathologists: Bridging the Gap Through Diagnostic Correlation — addresses one of the most discussed topics among veterinary pathologists: how cytology and histology complement each other in diagnostic decision-making.

The programme combines case-based discussions, expert lectures and interactive workshops, designed for anatomic and clinical pathologists, residents, and PhD students.
