NewsThe current cycle of the “Toxicologic Pathology Training Program” has started this year in May with the “Introduction into ToxicologicPathology”. This program was launched 20 years ago at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (Germany) to give ECVP residents an insight into the diversified and fascinating field of toxicopathology. The current modules will take place not only in Hannover but also in other European countries as hybrid events to expand the scope of the program. Moreover, interested students can participate online free of charge. The second module was organized in cooperation with the University of Barcelona (Spain) and will take place at the 17th October 2025. The expert speakers are coming from the pharmaceutical industry or contract research institutes and will give an overview about the “Pathology of Laboratory Animals and Animal Models of Medical Research”. The third module at the 7th-8th November 2025 will cover the toxicopathology of the hepatobiliary system. Moreover, a comprehensive mock session will be included in this module to provide an opportunity to prepare for the Comprehensive Pathology part of the ECVP exam. You will find further details of the modules already planned on the following webpage: https://www.tiho-hannover.de/kliniken-institute/institute/institut-fuer-pathologie/aktuelle-veranstaltungen/toxicologic-pathology-training-program Kind regards – On behalf of Simone Tangermann and Ingo Gerhauser
