ECVP-ESVP Summer School 2025
NewsWe are pleased to announce that registration for the ECVP-ESVP Summer School 2025 is now open! This year, the Summer School will take place in Liverpool (UK), from Monday 20 July until Friday 01 August 2025. You can find further details regarding the event and to complete your registration at this link: https://www.ecvpath.org/summer-school-general-information The ESVP is able to sponsor a small number of stipends covering the registration fee (€420) for participants whose financial circumstances make it difficult to attend the event in person without further financial support. This financial support is reserved to registered ESVP members: this is one of the many good reasons to become a member of the ESVP! People who are not yet ESVP members and would like to apply for the financial support, can find information about the ESVP membership at this link: https://www.esvp.eu/organization/membership-application The deadline for stipend applications is 19 May 2025 but please ensure that you register first. NewsThe SFAPV is pleased to announce that its next training days will take place at the Veterinary School of Alfort, in person, on Thursday 15, Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May 2025. This training will be dedicated to Orthopedic Pathology of Companion Animals, and we will have the pleasure of welcoming Professor Dr. Brian Murphy (UC Davis, USA) as well as Dr. Adeline Decambron, (Clinique Vétérinaire HOPia, Guyancourt, France). MeetingsThe ESTP has the pleasuse to the members of the ESVP to the Classic Examples in Toxicologic Pathology XXXII, which will be held at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover, Germany, on March 20 and 21, 2025. You will find the announcement and registration page, as well as additional information on the ESTP homepage The registration fee is EUR 150 for ESTP members, EUR 200 for non-members and EUR 50 for students. Beverages and snacks during the meeting and the get-together/Poster session on Thursday evening are included. The registration period will end on February 27, 2025. During the online meeting, Prof. Jeroen van der Laak, WP1 Bigpicture Project Coordinator, and Dr Julie Boisclair, WP1 EFPIA Lead, will explain the foundation of the Bigpicture project, and cover the status of the project’s work and future applications. What is Bigpicture? Bigpicture is a pioneering initiative aimed at revolutionizing artificial intelligence (AI) development in pathology through the development of a comprehensive repository for whole slide images in collaboration with 45 private and public partners.
